Gymnastics class!

Tristan started gymnastics this fall... and we've learned that no matter how nice a camera you have, photographing a munchkin who's running and swinging and bouncing around makes for a lot of blurs! And I've learnd you should never photograph Mama on a trampoline... that type of photography should be aimed at professionals only!
Anywhoo, here we are stretching as a warm up... I don't wanna shake my milkshake cup!(see munchkin behind us)... Who's that Mama? Is Dadda taking pictures?!?
Forget this warm up thing... I'm gonna go see Dadda! See ya!
On the bars... wee!
I didn't realize until this picture, that I was holding T up by only his feet...
Trampolining... at least my hair looks bouncy and pretty!
Crawling around on the mats... phew, Mama was not too big for it!
Mentally preparing for his next moves...
hum hum, just strolling along...
Mama was NOT tickling the belly! (ok.. maybe a little)
Even the great Olympians needed a boost at some point...
A young boy looking far into the future, his aspirations within reach (btw, Dadda is still holding him up - too far of a fall!)
Dadda clowning around... wee!
Break time!
Ring around the rosy, pocket full of posey... I gotta get a donought like this for home!

Finally: Birthday pictures!

We had 3 small celebrations for Tristan's birthday this year (3 parties is becoming a bit of a thing with this boy!)
Tia Fanny and Tio Ivan came to visit us in Ktown and we had some yummy, yummy dinner and carob cupcakes on his actual birthday....
The birthday boy trying on his Dadda's sandals (upgrading from mine) while holding onto birthday loot:
The birthday cupcake... "Mamma? Should I blow the candle?"
And the day after (once I fixed the cream cheese icing so I could frost his carrot cake) he got the full cake and candles. He's getting really good at blowing them out (and he loved trying so much, we had to relight them twice!)
On this bday party, he got to open his presents from Mamma and Dadda... oooh, train card!
His myriad of books....
Next!
A hockey set... oooohhh...
Discussing hockey techniques with dadda... "so the red stick is mine, right???"
And we had a small family birthday party for which I made a train-shaped birthday animal cake... and he really liked it!
May-ee playing on the inflatable slide... what a cutie!
On the swings... weeee!!!!
Dadda caught off-guard...
The girls having a tea party
Blowing out more birthday candles!
Tristan taking his alligator for a walk...
... with May-ee taking the gorilla along...
Opening presents (how do they get so good at ripping gift paper apart???)
vroom vroom! A truck WITH cars!
May-ee helping open presents (we lost him to the truck with cars)
Water time!
Splish splash they were taking a bath.... (they really were! The water was warm, the opportunity knocked... why not???)
Lather, rinse, repeat!
Tio Ryan needed a bath too... so nice of May-ee to volunteer to bathe him!
Scrub-a-dub, dub, May-ee's dad's in the tub!
Not sure how Ryan will react to this picture... hmm...
Good night hugs and kisses...
" Umm... no. I'm done kisses. Kiss to the hand"
The 3 boys saying goodnight (not nearly as cute, but close!)
I think this was the day after the party... reading the forbidden book with Dadda ("hey mister! You already got birthday presents! Can't shop for more!")
"... and when tweedle beetles battle..." Tristan listening to his favourite read by Abuo - Fox in Socks... Abuo reads it best! When he's around, no one else is allowed to read it!
Hey, we're getting pretty good at this keeping things updated!
Good night!
Love,
